  3. Controllable Temperature: The surrounding temperature can be adjusted between 0 and 200 ยฐC. This allows you to meet different toughness and strength requirements by adjusting the DAS temperature in different parts of the material during the printing process.

3D Printed Annealing Oven

CreatBot offers an optional annealing oven for technical polymers such as PEEK, which generally follows a three-step process:

  1. Heating: The part is heated to a specific temperature, usually between 140ยฐC and 220ยฐC. The annealing temperature depends on the type of material used and the desired properties.

  2. Holding: The material is held at the annealing temperature for a specified period. The duration depends on the mass of the part and the set annealing temperature.

  3. Cooling: The printed part is cooled slowly and in a controlled manner. This cooling process can be managed to achieve the desired grain structure in the material.

This annealing process improves the mechanical and thermal properties of materials such as PEEK, which is essential for applications requiring high strength and durability.
